The Centennial Spartans basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Reedy Lions to 51 in the Spartans non-league victory on Saturday.

The Spartans now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Midlothian Heritage for a 5A Region I District 8 contest on Tuesday, December 6. Centennial will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 50-48 non-league win over Life Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 8-6.

The Lions (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against North Forney (Forney, TX). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, North Forney was nudged by Tyler (Tyler, TX), 68-64, in a non-league contest.
