Washington High School Basketball - Chiawana holds off Ferris
December 3, 2022: Pasco, WA 99301 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Chiawana Riverhawks (Pasco, WA) and the visiting Ferris Saxons (Spokane, WA), saw Chiawana's basketball squad hold off Ferris by a tally of 65-58.
With the victory, Chiawana improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Riverhawks host Davis (Yakima, WA) to confront the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Davis won 67-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Kamiakin (Kennewick, WA)
Next up, the Saxons confront the North Central Wolfpack (Spokane, WA) in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. Ferris will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Wolfpack come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 77-56 league win over Rogers (Spokane, WA).
