In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Costa Mesa Mustangs basketball team scored a decisive 69-45 triumph over the Loara Saxons.

In their next game, the Mustangs meet the Buena Park Coyotes (Buena Park, CA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, December 7. Costa Mesa will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record. The Coyotes enter the match with a 4-5 record after their 63-56 non-league loss to Aliso Niguel (Aliso Viejo, CA).

With the defeat, Loara moves to 2-5 on the year. The Saxons host Garden Grove (Garden Grove, CA) to meet the Argonauts in a non-league match on Wednesday, December 7.
