The Harlowton/Ryegate Engineers basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Powder River County Hawks to 51 in the Engineers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Engineers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Reed Point/Rapelje for a C District 5 contest on Saturday, January 7.

The Hawks (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Bridger (Bridger, MT). The Scouts come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Bridger edged Frazer (Frazer, MT), 62-35, in a non-league contest.
