Arkansas High School Basketball - Marion fells John Paul II
December 3, 2022: Marion, AR 72364 Marion Patriots (Marion, AR) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball team run past the visiting John Paul II Cardinals (Plano, TX), 66-53 in a non-league game.
In their next game, the Patriots face the Brentwood Academy Eagles (Brentwood, TN) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 9. Marion will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 6-1 record after their 51-33 non-league win over McCallie (Chattanooga, TN).
With the defeat, John Paul II moves to 5-7 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Parish Episcopal (Dallas, TX) to face the Panthers in a TAPPS 6A District 1 game on Tuesday, December 6. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 10-5. Parish Episcopal lost 60-45 in their recent non-league game against Centennial (Burleson, TX)
