December 3, 2022: Irwinton, GA 31042 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Johnson Atomsmashers (Savannah, GA) basketball squad edged the host Wilkinson County Warriors (Irwinton, GA), by a margin of 69-68.
The Atomsmashers (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Savannah Country Day (Savannah, GA). The Hornets go into the AAA Region 3 outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Savannah Country Day held off Liberty County (Hinesville, GA), 47-35, in a league outing.
The Warriors now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Thomson for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 6. Wilkinson County will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 62-18 non-league win over Swainsboro (Swainsboro, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
