Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Leyden Eagles (Franklin Park, IL) and the visiting Kennedy Crusaders (Chicago, IL), saw Leyden's basketball squad overcome Kennedy by a tally of 57-48.

With the victory, Leyden improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Hinsdale South (Darien, IL) to confront the Hornets in a West Suburban - Gold challenge on Saturday, December 10. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Hinsdale South lost 49-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL)

Next up, the Crusaders confront the Catalyst-Maria Wolves (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Public - White Central challenge, on Tuesday, December 6.
