Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Nipomo Titans (Nipomo, CA) and the host Kennedy Thunderbirds (Delano, CA), saw Nipomo's basketball squad hold off Kennedy by a tally of 53-51.

With the victory, Nipomo improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Mission Prep (San Luis Obispo, CA) to confront the Royals in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Royals come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Mission Prep won 58-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Bradshaw Christian (Sacramento, CA)
