California High School Basketball - King's Academy holds off Valley Christian
December 3, 2022: Sunnyvale, CA 94085 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the King's Academy Knights (Sunnyvale, CA) and the visiting Valley Christian Warriors (San Jose, CA), saw King's Academy's basketball squad hold off Valley Christian by a tally of 54-47.
With the victory, King's Academy improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Knights travel to More (San Jose, CA) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 1-5. More lost 74-62 in their recent non-league challenge against Hill (San Jose, CA)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. Valley Christian will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Matadors come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 79-58 non-league win over Monterey Trail (Elk Grove, CA).
