Kentucky High School Basketball - Perry County Central tops Magoffin County
December 3, 2022: Hazard, KY 41701 Perry County Central Commodores (Hazard, KY) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Magoffin County Hornets (Salyersville, KY), 80-63 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Perry County Central upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Commodores travel to Martin County (Inez, KY) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 2-2. Martin County lost 50-47 in their recent non-league bout against Breathitt County (Jackson, KY)
Next up, the Hornets play the Morgan County Cougars (West Liberty, KY) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 5. Magoffin County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 73-56 non-league win over Model (Richmond, KY).
