Tennessee High School Basketball - Overton fells Wenonah
December 3, 2022: Memphis, TN 38117 Overton Wolverines (Memphis, TN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Wenonah Dragons (Birmingham, AL), 74-60 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Overton upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Mitchell (Memphis, TN) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, December 5. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Mitchell lost 68-52 in their recent non-league bout against Memphis Home Education Association (Memphis, TN)
Next up, the Dragons play the Hueytown Golden Gophers (Hueytown, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Wenonah will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Golden Gophers go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 75-67 non-league loss to Gardendale (Gardendale, AL).
