The Superior Wildcats basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host Republic County Buffaloes to 36 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Saturday.

The Wildcats now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fairbury for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Superior will battle a Jeffs team coming off a 45-44 non-league win over Fillmore Central (Geneva, NE). The Jeffs record now stands at 1-0.

The Buffaloes (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Valley Heights (Blue Rapids, KS). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Valley Heights was defeated by Marysville (Marysville, KS), 64-35, in a non-league contest.
