Virginia High School Basketball - Academy of the New Church trounces Madeira
December 3, 2022: McLean, VA 22102 The Academy of the New Church Lions (Bryn Athyn, PA) basketball crushed the host Madeira Snails (McLean, VA), 68-20 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Lions (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Freire Charter (Philadelphia, PA). The Dragon go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
The Snails now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host King Abdullah Academy for a VISAA Division II test on Friday, December 9. Madeira will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 47-6 non-league loss to Holton-Arms (Bethesda, MD). The Falcons record now stands at 1-6.
