Illinois High School Basketball - Armstrong overwhelms Blue Ridge
December 3, 2022: Farmer City, IL 61842 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Armstrong Trojans (Armstrong, IL) and the host Blue Ridge Knights (Farmer City, IL), saw Armstrong's basketball squad crush Blue Ridge by a margin of 48-15.
The Trojans (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Salt Fork (Sidell, IL). The Storm go into the Vermilion Valley test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Salt Fork was trounced by Arcola (Arcola, IL), 37-23, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Arcola for a Lincoln Prairie test on Monday, December 5. Blue Ridge will encounter a Purple Riders squad coming off a 37-23 non-league win over Salt Fork (Sidell, IL). The Purple Riders record now stands at 3-1.
