The Cheyenne Desert Shields basketball team scored 34 points and held the visiting Somerset Academy Losee Lions to 32 in the Desert Shields non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Desert Shields now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Legacy for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9.

The Lions (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Boulder City (Boulder City, NV). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 1-4 record.
