Kansas High School Basketball - Cornerstone Family overwhelms St. Xavier
December 3, 2022: Junction City, KS 66441 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Cornerstone Family Saints (Topeka, KS) and the host St. Xavier Rams (Junction City, KS), saw Cornerstone Family's basketball squad wallop St. Xavier by a count of 51-24.
With the victory, Cornerstone Family upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Saints host Faith Christian Academy (Kansas City, MO) to play the Knights in a Midwest Christian challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Faith Christian Academy won 42-25 in their recent non-league challenge against Heartland (Belton, MO)
Next up, the Rams play the Flint Hills Christian Warriors (Manhattan, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 9. St. Xavier will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 31-25 non-league loss to Axtell (Axtell, KS).
