Nebraska High School Basketball - Cozad overwhelms Maxwell

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Cozad Haymakers (Cozad, NE) and the host Maxwell Wildcats (Maxwell, NE), saw Cozad's basketball squad wallop Maxwell by a tally of 58-27.

With the victory, Cozad improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Haymakers travel to Pleasanton (Pleasanton, NE) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Pleasanton won 59-28 in their recent non-league challenge against Arcadia/Loup City (Arcadia, NE)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] (Eustis, NE) in a D1 District 11 challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. Maxwell will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 48-36 non-league loss to Ansley/Litchfield (Ansley, NE).
