Georgia High School Basketball - Spalding topped by Hampton
December 3, 2022: Griffin, GA 30224 The Hampton Hornets basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Spalding Jaguars to 48 in the Hornets non-league victory on Saturday.
The Hornets now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pace Academy for a AAAA Region 5 contest on Tuesday, December 6. Hampton will battle a Knights team coming off a 49-46 league loss to Stockbridge (Stockbridge, GA). The Knights record now stands at 1-4.
The Jaguars (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Westside (Macon, GA). The Seminoles come into the AAAA Region 2 contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Westside dropped by Central (Macon, GA), 58-30, in a non-league contest.
