Independence (Ashburn, VA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Justice Wolves (Falls Church, VA), 51-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Independence upgrades its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The travel to Loudoun County (Leesburg, VA) to play the Captains in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Captains come into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Wolves play the Yorktown Patriots (Arlington, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Justice will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
