New York High School Basketball - Whitesboro over Moriah
December 3, 2022: Marcy, NY 13403 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Whitesboro Warriors (Marcy, NY) and the visiting Moriah Vikings (Port Henry, NY), saw Whitesboro's basketball squad overcome Moriah by a tally of 39-31.
With the victory, Whitesboro improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Warriors host Rome Free Academy (Rome, NY) to confront the Black Knights in a Section 3 Tri-Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Black Knights come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the Vikings confront the Ticonderoga Sentinels (Ticonderoga, NY) in a Section 7 Champlain Valley II challenge, on Friday, December 9. Moriah will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
