Iowa High School Basketball - Spencer tops Sioux Central
December 3, 2022: Spencer, IA 51301 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Spencer Tigers (Spencer, IA) and the visiting Sioux Central Rebels (Sioux Rapids, IA), saw Spencer's basketball squad knock off Sioux Central by a tally of 53-33.
With the victory, Spencer improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Tigers host Emmetsburg (Emmetsburg, IA) to play the E'Hawks in a Lakes challenge on Monday, December 5. The E'Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Emmetsburg won 52-25 in their recent non-league challenge against Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire (Ruthven, IA)
Next up, the Rebels play the Alta-Aurelia Warriors (Alta, IA) in a Twin Lakes challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. Sioux Central will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 63-26 non-league win over Storm Lake/Storm Lake St. Mary (Storm Lake, IA).
