December 3, 2022: Santa Ynez, CA 93460 The Channel Islands Raiders (Oxnard, CA) basketball crushed the host Santa Ynez Pirates (Santa Ynez, CA), 53-29 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Raiders (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Fillmore (Fillmore, CA). The Flashes go into the test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Fillmore was trounced by Foothill Tech (Ventura, CA), 44-30, in a non-league test.
The Pirates now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Carpinteria for a non-league test on Saturday, December 3. Santa Ynez will battle a Warriors team coming off a 73-17 non-league loss to Foothill Tech (Ventura, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-1.
