December 3, 2023: Ashland, OR 97520 Fans at Sunday's non-league challenge between the Mountain View Cougars (Bend, OR) and the host Ashland Grizzlies (Ashland, OR), saw Mountain View's basketball squad hold off Ashland by a tally of 51-45.
With the victory, Mountain View improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Sandy (Sandy, OR) to play the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 9. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 2-0.
Next up, the Grizzlies play the Yerington Lions (Yerington, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 7. Ashland will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 66-50 non-league loss to South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA).
