Wisconsin High School Basketball - Iola-Scandinavia victorious over Almond-Bancroft
December 3, 2024: Almond, WI 54909 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Iola-Scandinavia Thunderbirds basketball team scored a good 49-33 triumph over the Almond-Bancroft Eagles.
The Thunderbirds (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Bonduel (Bonduel, WI). The Bears go into the Central Wisconsin - East contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Bonduel topped St. Mary Catholic (Neenah, WI), 94-62, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Tri-County Penguins (Plainfield, WI) in a Great Northern HomeSchool contest, on Friday, December 6. Almond-Bancroft will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Penguins go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 58-36 non-league win over Marion (Marion, WI).
