December 3, 2024: Irvine, KY 40336 The Estill County Engineers (Irvine, KY) basketball edged the visiting Bath County Wildcats (Owingsville, KY), 61-54 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Engineers now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Jackson City for a non-league bout on Friday, December 6. Estill County will play a Tigers team coming off a 83-43 non-league loss to Leslie County (Hyden, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Bath County falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Bourbon County (Paris, KY) to play the Colonels in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 5.
