Ohio High School Basketball - Bucyrus can't hold off Elgin
December 3, 2024: Marion, OH 43302 Elgin Comets (Marion, OH) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Bucyrus Redmen (Bucyrus, OH), 55-50 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Elgin upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Comets travel to Hardin Northern (Dola, OH) to encounter the Polar Bears in a Northwest Central challenge on Friday, December 6. The Polar Bears come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Hardin Northern lost 68-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Liberty-Benton (Findlay, OH)
In their next game, the Redmen encounter the Seneca East Tigers (Attica, OH) in a Northern 10 challenge, on Friday, December 6. Bucyrus will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 57-56 non-league loss to Plymouth (Plymouth, OH).
