The Merritt Island Christian Cougars basketball team scored 48 points and limited the host Edgewood Red Wolves to 42 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Calvary Chapel Academy for a non-league game on Thursday, December 5. Merritt Island Christian will confront a Eagles team coming off a 57-49 non-league loss to Melbourne Central Catholic (Melbourne, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Edgewood falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Red wolves host Space Coast (Cocoa, FL) to confront the Vipers in a non-league game on Thursday, December 12. The Vipers go into the game with a record of 0-5.
