December 3, 2024: Watonga, OK 73772 The Hinton Comets basketball team scored 41 points and limited the host Watonga Eagles to 28 in the Comets non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Comets now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Calumet for a non-league game on Friday, December 6. Hinton will confront a Chieftains team coming off a 64-50 league win over Binger-Oney (Binger, OK). The Chieftains record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Watonga falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Minco (Minco, OK) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Friday, December 6. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 1-1. Minco won 43-42 in their recent non-league game against Hennessey (Hennessey, OK)
