New York High School Basketball - Truman bested by Mt. St. Michael Academy
December 3, 2024: Bronx, NY 10466 Mt. St. Michael Academy Mountaineers (Bronx, NY) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Truman Mustangs (Bronx, NY), 76-61 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Mt. St. Michael Academy advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Mountaineers travel to Monsignor Scanlan (Bronx, NY) to meet the Crusaders in a Catholic AA - New York match on Tuesday, December 3. The Crusaders enter the match with a record of 0-0.
The Mustangs now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Columbus for a non-league match on Wednesday, December 4. Truman will meet a Sharks squad coming off a 53-41 league loss to Tuitt (Bronx, NY). The Sharks record now stands at 1-1.
