December 3, 2024: Spencer, IA 51301 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Sioux City East Black Raiders basketball team scored a big 82-40 win over the Spencer Tigers.
The Black Raiders (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Bishop Heelan Catholic (Sioux City, IA). The Crusaders enter the Missouri River battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Bishop Heelan Catholic walloped Treynor (Treynor, IA), 65-55, in a non-league battle.
The Tigers now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Dodge for a non-league battle on Friday, December 6. Spencer will meet a Dodgers squad coming off a 71-63 non-league loss to Boone (Boone, IA). The Dodgers record now stands at 0-1.
