Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Valley View overwhelms Wyoming Valley West
December 3, 2024: Archbald, PA 18403 The Valley View Cougars basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Wyoming Valley West Spartans to 27 in the Cougars non-league victory on Tuesday.
With the victory, Valley View upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Cougars host Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA) to face the Crusaders in a non-league match on Friday, December 6. The Crusaders enter the match with a record of 1-0. Holy Cross won 84-81 in their recent non-league match against Lincoln (Brooklyn, NY)
The Spartans now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Abington Heights for a non-league match on Wednesday, December 4. Wyoming Valley West will face a Comets squad coming off a 71-52 non-league loss to Cardinal O'Hara (Springfield, PA). The Comets record now stands at 0-1.
