Minnesota High School Basketball - Windom overwhelms Worthington
December 3, 2024: Windom, MN 56101 The Windom Eagles basketball team scored 104 points and limited the visiting Worthington Trojans to 80 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Blue Earth for a non-league game on Friday, December 6. Windom will confront a Buccaneers team coming off a 84-27 non-league loss to Jackson County Central (Jackson, MN). The Buccaneers record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Worthington falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Southwest Minnesota Christian (Edgerton, MN) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Saturday, December 7. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 1-0. Southwest Minnesota Christian won 89-34 in their recent league game against Adrian/Ellsworth (Adrian, MN)
