California High School Basketball - Escalon holds off Summerville
December 3, 2024: Escalon, CA 95320 The Escalon Cougars basketball team scored 36 points and limited the visiting Summerville Bears to 30 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cougars now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Tokay for a non-league game on Wednesday, December 4. Escalon will confront a Tigers team coming off a 70-33 non-league win over Ceres (Ceres, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Summerville falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Bret Harte (Angels Camp, CA) to confront the Bullfrogs in a non-league game on Saturday, December 14.
