Wisconsin High School Basketball - West De Pere holds off Bay Port
December 3, 2024: De Pere, WI 54115 The West De Pere Phantoms basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Bay Port Pirates to 57 in the Phantoms non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Phantoms now have a 4-0 record. They play next when they host Shawano Community for a Bay game on Friday, December 6. West De Pere will confront a Hawks team coming off a 70-49 non-league loss to Oostburg (Oostburg, WI). The Hawks record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Bay Port falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Manitowoc Lincoln (Manitowoc, WI) to confront the Ships in a Fox River Classic game on Friday, December 6. The Ships go into the game with a record of 2-0. Manitowoc Lincoln won 89-39 in their recent non-league game against Milwaukee King (Milwaukee, WI)
