Michigan High School Basketball - Zion Christian fells Black River
December 3, 2024: Byron Center, MI 49315 The Zion Christian Mountaineers basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Black River Rats to 33 in the Mountaineers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Mountaineers now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to West Michigan Aviation Academy for a Alliance game on Friday, December 6. Zion Christian will confront a team coming off a 61-11 non-league loss to Ottawa Hills (Grand Rapids, MI). The record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Black River falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Rats travel to Kellogg (Delton, MI) to confront the Panthers in a Southwestern - Central game on Thursday, December 5.
