Minnesota High School Basketball - Mayer Lutheran victorious over Central
December 3, 2024: Norwood-Young America, MN 55397 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Mayer Lutheran Crusaders basketball team scored a good 62-48 triumph over the Central Raiders.
The Crusaders (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against West Lutheran (Plymouth, MN). The Warriors go into the A Section 4 contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, West Lutheran was toppled by Spectrum (Elk River, MN), 62-52, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Raiders confront the Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] Titans (Montgomery, MN) in a AA Section 2 contest, on Thursday, December 5. Central will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Titans go into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 66-60 league loss to Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, MN).
