Ohio High School Basketball - Jackson Center thwarts Covington
December 3, 2024: Jackson Center, OH 45334 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Jackson Center Tigers (Jackson Center, OH) and the visiting Covington Buccs (Covington, OH), observed Jackson Center's basketball team knock off Covington by a score of 42-29.
The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Russia (Russia, OH). The Raiders come into the Shelby County challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Russia dropped by Anna (Anna, OH), 37-34, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Buccs encounter the Bethel Bees (Tipp City, OH) in a Three Rivers challenge, on Thursday, December 5. Covington will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Bees come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 64-49 non-league win over Shawnee (Springfield, OH).
