Texas High School Basketball - Denison nudges Creekview
December 3, 2024: Denison, TX 75020 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Denison Yellow Jackets (Denison, TX) and the visiting Creekview Mustangs (Carrollton, TX), observed Denison's basketball team edge Creekview by a score of 47-44.
The Yellow Jackets (15-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Walnut Grove (Prosper, TX). The Wildcats come into the 5A Region II District 9 challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, Walnut Grove was tipped by Lone Star (Frisco, TX), 52-51, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Highland Park Scots (Dallas, TX) in a 5A Region II District 12 challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Creekview will attempt to improve on its 9-3 season record. The Scots come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 50-40 non-league loss to Lake Ridge (Mansfield, TX).
