Texas High School Basketball - Hudson holds off Douglass
December 3, 2024: Lufkin, TX 75904 The Hudson Hornets basketball team scored 42 points and limited the visiting Douglass Indians to 40 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hornets now possess a 7-5 record. They play next when they host Jasper for a non-league game on Thursday, December 5. Hudson will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 52-29 league loss to Little Cypress-Mauriceville (Orange, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, Douglass falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Tolar (Tolar, TX) to confront the Rattlers in a non-league game on Friday, December 6. The Rattlers go into the game with a record of 7-4. Tolar won 70-43 in their recent non-league game against Paradise (Paradise, TX)
