December 3, 2024: Garwin, IA 50632 GMG Wolverines (Garwin, IA) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Twin Cedars Sabers (Bussey, IA), 54-0 in a non-league match.
With the victory, GMG advances its record to 1-2 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Colo-NESCO (Colo, IA) to meet the Royals in a Iowa Star match on Friday, December 6. The Royals enter the match with a record of 0-2. Colo-NESCO lost 52-27 in their recent league match against North Tama (Traer, IA)
The Sabers now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ankeny Christian Academy for a non-league match on Friday, December 6. Twin Cedars will meet a squad coming off a 54-42 non-league loss to CAM (Anita, IA). The record now stands at 0-1.
