In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Downey Vikings basketball team scored a good 36-23 win over the Rancho Cucamonga Cougars.

The Vikings (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Troy (Fullerton, CA). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Corona Panthers (Corona, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 7. Rancho Cucamonga will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record.
