December 3, 2024: Raleigh, NC 27609 Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Sanderson Spartans (Raleigh, NC), 47-44 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Middle Creek advances its record to 3-2 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Garner (Garner, NC) to meet the Trojans in a non-league match on Friday, December 6. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 2-0. Garner won 58-41 in their recent non-league match against Millbrook (Raleigh, NC)
The Spartans now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wake Forest for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10.
