December 3, 2025: Sun Valley, CA 91352 Castaic Coyotes (Castaic, CA) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Sun Valley Magnet Pioneers (Sun Valley, CA), 86-22 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Castaic advances its record to 3-3 on the year. The Coyotes host West Ranch (Valencia, CA) to meet the Wildcats in a Foothill match on Friday, December 5. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 1-4. West Ranch lost 51-43 in their recent league match against Golden Valley (Santa Clarita, CA)
The Pioneers now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Panorama for a non-league contest on Friday, December 5. Sun Valley Magnet will battle a Pythons team coming off a 48-36 non-league loss to Chavez (San Fernando, CA). The Pythons record now stands at 2-1.
