California High School Basketball - Morse nips Mar Vista

December 3, 2025: Imperial Beach, CA 91932

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Morse Tigers (San Diego, CA) and the host Mar Vista Mariners (Imperial Beach, CA), observed Morse's basketball team edge Mar Vista by a margin of 60-54.

The Tigers (5-0) will now prepare for their match against Santana (Santee, CA). The Sultans enter the non-league match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Santana tipped High Tech Mesa (San Diego, CA), 38-28, in a non-league match.

The Mariners now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to High Tech SD for a non-league contest on Friday, December 5. Mar Vista will battle a Storm team coming off a 57-50 non-league loss to Del Lago Academy (Escondido, CA). The Storm record now stands at 4-2.
