The crowd at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Nonnewaug/Lakeview/Shepaug Valley Chiefs (Woodbury, CT) and the visiting New Fairfield Rebels (New Fairfield, CT), witnessed Nonnewaug/Lakeview/Shepaug Valley's football squad edge New Fairfield by a tally of 38-36.

The Chiefs (11-0) will now prepare for their bout against Hand (Madison, CT). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 10-1 record. In their last bout, Hand nudged Waterford (Waterford, CT), 43-19, in a non-league bout.

The Rebels now own a 7-4 record.
