The C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons basketball squad (Pikeville, NC), was outscored 48-37 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Corinth Holders Pirates (Wendell, NC)

With the victory, Corinth Holders advances its record to 5-0 on the year. The Pirates travel to Cleveland (Clayton, NC) to battle the Rams in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 5. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Cleveland won 62-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Knightdale (Knightdale, NC)

In their next game, the Golden Falcons battle the Smithfield-Selma Spartans (Smithfield, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 5. C.B. Aycock will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 44-4 non-league loss to Triton (Erwin, NC).
