With the victory, Marshall advances its record to 2-4 on the year. The Bobcats host Jasper (Jasper, AR) to meet the Pirates in a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 9. The Pirates enter the battle with a record of 10-6. Jasper lost 48-19 in their recent non-league battle against Quitman (Quitman, AR)
The Antlers now own a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alpena for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 11. Deer will meet a Leopards squad coming off a 66-39 non-league loss to Viola (Viola, AR). The Leopards record now stands at 4-12.
