The North Edgecombe Warriors were victorious over the visiting Northwest Halifax Vikings basketball squad by a final score of 48-37 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Warriors clash with the Hobgood Charter Raiders (Hobgood, NC) in a non-league outing, on Friday, December 5. North Edgecombe will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Raiders enter the outing with a 0-4 record after their 54-36 non-league loss to Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy (Halifax, NC).

With the loss, Northwest Halifax falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Rocky Mount Prep (Rocky Mount, NC) to confront the Jaguars in a non-league game on Friday, December 5. The Jaguars go into the game with a record of 2-0. Rocky Mount Prep won 54-48 in their recent non-league game against Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy (Halifax, NC)
