Minnesota High School Basketball - Ashby tops North Woods
December 30, 2021: Ashby, MN 56309 Ashby Arrows (Ashby, MN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting North Woods grizzlies (Cook, MN), 63-55 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Ashby upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Arrows travel to Rothsay (Rothsay, MN) to play the Tigers in a A Section 6 bout on Tuesday, January 18. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 3-5.
Next up, the grizzlies play the Red Lake Warriors (Red Lake, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 4. North Woods will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 86-51 non-league loss to Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MN).
