Oregon High School Basketball - Beaverton thwarts Barlow
December 30, 2021: Beaverton, OR 97005 The Beaverton Beavers (Beaverton, OR) basketball knocked off the visiting Barlow Bruins (Gresham, OR), 59-43 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Beavers (6-3) will now prepare for their test against South Eugene (Eugene, OR). The Axe go into the non-league test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, South Eugene notched a victory over North Eugene (Eugene, OR), 58-46, in a non-league test.
The Bruins now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Clackamas for a 6A Mt. Hood test on Tuesday, January 4. Barlow will encounter a Cavaliers squad coming off a 72-53 non-league win over Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts (Milwaukie, OR). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-5.
